My point is that if Shaak-Ti couldn't win when she had LITERALLY a planet's worth of help against Galen, how is she going to win when she has none of those same advantages? Sort answer, she really I hope this meets expectation with your apparently somewhat high opinion of me. The odds are stacked HEAVILY in Shaak's favor logistically. Galen is: Pre-prime, weakened by the LS nexus, and has several opponents he needs to focus on all at once. So let's recap: Shaak-Ti is- Amped by an LS Nexus, receiving aid from Felucians, and receiving aid from a Sarlaac.
As well as the aid of the nexus, she also had help from many of the Felucian warriors on the planet who helped her in her confrontation with Galen, and to top it off she had the help of the Sarlaac in the Ancient Abyss. So, not only was Shaak likely being amped by the nexus, but Galen (being of Dark Side alignment) would have been weaker as a result. Shaak-Ti was on a self-created light side nexus during this fight and was simultaneously feeding the entire planet with light side energy in an attempt to slow Galen. With her gone, maybe the dark side could reassert itself and the natural rhythms of life resume. She was responsible for the planet’s imbalance. Shaak Ti’s death affected them deeply, so profoundly entangled had she become in the energy flows of the world.
OK, so because of my lack of a half decent argument last time I now feel obligated to explain my reasoning.
